My lease on my current apartment is almost up and I am a constant planner, so in addition to interviewing for some new positions (still waiting to hear the good (or not) news), I have been looking at apartments. I think I have finally settled on a new place this weekend. It is off 7th Avenue between Indian School and Camelback. It is close enough to several bars that if I decide to get my drink on, I can stumble home on foot (I won't drink and drive). It is in the lovely Melrose district that is quickly becoming a gay ghetto and home to several of the first Friday arts events. It is only a 1 bedroom and is smaller than I have now, but the price is right and it still has a washer/dryer which is very important to me. I hate washing my clothes where other people have been putting their clothes. I tend to be a very clean person and from what I see of others, I can't say the same for everyone I know...
SO....that is what I have been doing and why I have been gone so long. I plan on making more and more frequent updates in the future. Talk to y'all soon.
